I've been in Web3 since before it was cool to say Web3.

It started in 2017 with a few Radeon RX570s and a group of friends from business school who convinced me to build my first mining rig. While most people were still figuring out what Bitcoin was, I was already neck-deep in blockchain infrastructure, masternodes, and the early DeFi rabbit hole.

That obsession never left.

The path

I spent years learning how people and businesses actually work, data analysis, B2B sales, then recruitment in some of the most demanding technical fields out there: nuclear energy and industrial engineering. Rigorous sectors where precision isn't optional and the wrong hire costs more than just time.

A year in New Zealand somewhere in between reset my perspective. I came back knowing I wanted to build something of my own. It took a few more years for the timing to align personally and professionally.

What became clear over time: the most valuable thing in any industry isn't capital or technology. It's the right people.
