6. THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER (CV AND PROFILE SHARING)
When you give consent for your CV, profile, and contact details to be shared with a client company or recruitment partner through the Yupe.io platform, that company becomes an independent data controller for the purposes of your personal data. This means they are responsible for how they store, use, and protect your information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law.
Yupe.io takes reasonable steps to ensure that client companies and partners who receive candidate data are legitimate businesses operating within the EU/EEA or providing equivalent data protection guarantees. We do not share your data with companies that have not agreed to use it solely for recruitment purposes.
However, once your data has been transmitted to a third-party recipient, their subsequent processing falls outside Yupe.io's direct control. We cannot be held responsible for how a recipient company handles your data after the point of transfer, including how long they retain it or how they secure it internally.
If you have concerns about how a specific company is handling your data after receiving it through our platform, you should contact that company directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in France, this is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
